Description
Sloy cabin (nr 5), which sleeps up to five people comands a truly stunning elevated position on the shore of beautiful Loch Awe. This self catering log cabin accommodation consists of an open plan lounge, with dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and shower room. It is double glazed, well heated and is suitable for use all year round.
The lounge area has TV, DVD player & Hi-Fi (via DVD), radio, a two-seater sofa, easy chairs, fold away dining table / chairs and loft bunk. It offers breath taking, far reaching views across the loch and mountains beyond. The kitchen area is equipped with hob / oven, fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle. A full range of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are provided. From the lounge patio doors give access onto a raised veranda which has a picnic table / chairs.
The shower room has an electric shower, wash basin, toilet and heater. Bedroom 1 contains a double bed, built in clothes hanging / storage space and bedside cabinet. Bedroom 2 contains three bunks, suitable for adults or children and a built in hanging space.
The cabin stands in its own substantial grounds, extending to the shore of Loch Awe. There is a pebble beach, with shallow water at the margins. There is a camp fire / BBQ area & parking for two cars.
A scandinavian style, wood fuelled hot tub is available to guests at an extra cost of £60 per week (includes 2 bags of logs). The perfect way to relax and enjoy the stunning views across Loch Awe.
All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. We charge £20 per dog per stay.
We also charge a refundable damage deposit fee of £50 (£100 for groups of 5 or more) payable directly to us 4 weeks prior to arrival. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure, subject to satisfactory inspection of premises after departure.
The surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground with forests, burns, rivers, mountains and lochs to explore. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions and is a well know destination for anglers.
